Re: 2018 Tour of South Africa

Rabada is a cracking bowler. Moves the ball in the air and off the deck.

We need Kurt Russell, big trouble.....
    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I believe 95% of men would have got angry at deKock.
I'd have killed the bastard there and then. I thought Warner showed admirable constraint to let Uzy hold him back like that.

In all seriousness I reckon I would have gone him on the field.

      ...little China.

Kurt Russell and Quenton Tarintino (and Samuel L. Jackson I think) turned up unannounced at the Sun theatre in Yarraville for the Premiere of one of Tarintino's films a couple years ago. You know, like Hollywood stars are always doing, just turning up out of the blue at film screenings in Melbourne's cosmopolitan west. I knew it was Brad Pitt who sold me that choctop at Village last school holidays.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Re: 2018 Tour of South Africa

A couple of decent efforts with the bat by the Australian team but the day belonged to SA. Mitch Marsh has again started off patiently and now needs to go on with it and hopefully Tim Paine can get a good score as well.

I don't like our chances but you never know if we can get a lead of 150 plus

          It dosen't look promising.

AB de Villiers and Rabada have clearly dominated us with plenty of help from Philander.

They said on the radio that the average fourth innings score at this ground is only 160. Get a decent lead and we never know.

Rabada is going to break a lot of records. Steyn has gone out and they haven't missed a beat.

Rabada has all the qualities on of the really great fast (not medium pace, this bloke is faaasst.) bowlers of all time. And he has a fair eye with the bat in his hands too. A bit of coaching on footwork and shot selection and he could be a great all rounder.

Rabada an 11 wicket haul. What a gun bowler he is. SA needing 101 to win. Should get the target easily. Hopefully our bowlers can produce some magic.

Smith summed it up pretty well when he said we were probably 70 runs short in the first dig and 50 runs short in the second dig.

I guess we are accustomed to him getting those extra runs.

And 6 wickets short of victory , really some of the things that players say in the media are ridiculous and it's like saying if we bowled better in the first innings .. Stating the obvious really , personally I would be asking why did you Bat first on a damp cloudy day with a green pitch .. That's more the reason they lost IMO.

Smith is a good batsman but gee he makes some terrible decisions.

Deserves 1 match but not 2. Steve Smith added some mayo on the "shoulder charge", that would otherwise have struggled to knock down a dandelion spore. He has plenty of rat cunning does Steve Smith - knew exactly what he was doing with the raise of the arm to his batting partner straight afterwards.

Smith is good but he ain't no Phil Davis. Davis would have gone the full three and a half Pyke from the top board from contact like that. He would have flown through the air like Jezza.

And I want to say the way in the tradition of the way I was bought up to play the game, congratulations to South Africa-especially Kasigo Rabada and Farnie De Villiers, two blokes I wish had been born in Australia on a great win. Just too good for us this time.
