Deliberate shoulder change (3 demerit points) was downgraded to contrary conduct (1 demerit point). There's some outrage on Twitter and the like but I reckon the revised penalty is a pretty sensible outcome and more in line with the incident in question - don't think anyone could definitively say that contact was deliberate.
He's still guilty and still received a demerit point.

If it wasn't deliberate what was he doing so close screaming in his face?
Was it that they separate the shoulder contact from getting too close and screaming and pretending they are independent acts? This is what I get so pissed off about with sport judiciaries or tribunals. Irrespective of the heat of the moment, you are always in control and completely aware of what you're doing. Those who say otherwise are normally ex-player apologists for the shit they pulled when they were playing, or plain dickheads who think that sort of behaviour is OK, doing the same.
TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Super slow-mos make it look far worse and more provocative than what it was. He's screaming towards his slips fielders and moving in a straight line towards them when the slight brush with Smith took place.
He still did the wrong thing getting too close to Smith and has been punished accordingly.
What a sight, the Suburban boy stump was cartwheeling like I've rarely seen.
Rabada is an insanely talented fast bowler. I have a feeling he and Ngidi are going to be the premier fast bowling pair in world cricket very soon and given their age, for a very long time.
Bancroft makes his way to a solid 50. He now needs to go on with it. I know many are critical of his performances but I'm glad he has been given this series to see if he has the talent required. If we can get Renshaw back in the frame it would be great to have a couple of players who put some value on their wicket.

I would've thought 4 boundaries and 6 off the previous 5 would be more of a highlight. Good to see Rabada not give a batsman a spray on the way off. Maybe after 6 reports in 2 years he's finally growing up. I might wait for more than one effort before I form an opinion however.

He won't let you down.
They really didn't have to say anything anyway. The point had well and truly been made. The problem with each boundary is you know the inevitable bust is coming. And Warner tends to be 6 or out, there's no real in between,
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
Oops, Bancroft looks like he is in strife. He was rubbing the ball with something yellow then when the umpires approached him he showed them some completely different piece of cloth that was more of a tan colour. Something a bit odd is going on.
