No more bullshit fines, every country now will clamp down on it.
The first major movement in cleaning this sport up in the world.
Personally they deserve it not just for the ball tampering but the idiotic way they did it and the lies they have continued to tell to avoid the truth.
Bancroft first tried saying it was sunglass holder then it was tape and now it was sandpaper.
Warner continues to avoid anything asked about it and the CA has obviously told him to shut up so it must go further up.
Smith isn't a strong personality and making him captain I believe he was a huge mistake ( but who else did they have ?)
We keep hearing little leaks and the story changes every time.
The whole episode is more about the arrogance and bullying by CA and certain players culture. The ball tampering just shows how bad it got.
It's funny how now this happens all the experts said they knew something would happen the culture has been shit for two years!
This was needed to happen not just for the culture of Australian cricket but for the whole world of cricket.
    Let's start the rebuild !
But I certainly don't want those three players in test cricket again.
I've always said that lying isn't for me because you have to be quite smart to be a good liar. You have to remember who it was you told which version of the story to for a start and I struggle with remembering people's names let alone which nuance they are up to date with.

They were always going to get caught out but they weren't ready for what was to come.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

When he did, he looked extremely dangerous and removed De Villiers.

These stats are from Cricket Professor on Twitter:

"Chadd Sayers' average speed today is similar to Vernon Philander's in the series (around 127.5 km/hr) & gotten more swing (1.25° v 0.95°) & more seam (0.71° v 0.63°)."
Glad someone brought this up. I was watching and couldn’t believe the way Warne and the rest of the commentary team derided Sayers throughout the telecast. Talking about a bloke on debut, who I thought, was doing a pretty reasonable job - and they just really wrote him off there and then.

Would like to have seen Sayers bowl a little fuller - but didn’t think he deserved what he got via the commentary.

Agree with others - he could be a weapon in England.

Well if you’re going to have Smith and Bancroft not playing again , then Faf shouldn’t either .
Warner for other reasons also won’t don the national colors again, but the other two should be given the chance .

CA does not have control of other countries players . If Australia wants to be seen as being fair etc this needed to be done.
But I think it is a great message to other countries to start clamping down on it.
Australia has always claimed they are clean and are proud of the fact they don't cheat and will blow their trumpet about being a fair country, and sound out others, sadly it's been found wanting a few times now .. Rugby, Aussie rules even horse racing ( fine cotton) .
We are as bad as any other country it seems but we claimed we aren't.
Australian sport can no longer get on its high horse anymore.

Both will play again if their form warrants selection. I'm not so sure about Warner

Can you provide any proof of us going around unfairly claiming other countries cheat but we don't? I've never seen it or read it explicitly said by anyone who had any current with Australian cricket, but I've seen plenty of accusations thrown at us about it.

It's a convenient untruth often lobbed at Australian cricket with very little evidence to back it up.

Warner has often spoken about playing clean. We always have spoken about how clean we are in everything. We still do it about drugs in sport

Hard but fair......headbutting the line, but not crossing it.........

We've continually beaten our chests with such claims, unfortunately we've also been found to be full of shit.
                  TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

We have folded quickly today and are currently 9 for 107. Philander has 6 wickets.

A few of the players have just checked out.

This isn't going to get better? Welcome to the brave new world of Australian cricket for the next 12 to 18 months. I hope those calling for Smith and Warner never to play again (not on this board) are the same people cheering on these guys over the summer?

I don't understand it , I played in sides who were real bad at times but even then you would try for your own pride.
Cricket is a game where you can show both team and individual effort.
When I was playing in teams that weren't to good players still tried there best for their own performance, yes what happened can hurt you as a team but to crumble like this in both games individually as well tells me this is a protest to back the players who were suspended or they have just thrown in the towel and still don't see that it's representing your country.
I just watched the wickets and one just shouldered arms !
Australian cricket has a lot of soul searching to do, along with a whole new admin of hope , positivity, pride, enjoyment and most important team bond.
To me someone like Gilchrist would be awesome in some sort of role.

Mate. It was never going to work out like that when you had one team that could do what it liked and their players are excused while our players got OOT punishments.

Personally I would have packed my gear up and gone home the moment Rabada was allowed to play in the third test.
