I'm devastated...

Musnt have seen the Fabinho stage show that led to Origi's winner v Newcastle. Almost reprehensible. Plus the clear red against Alexander-Arnold on the goal line . If Atsu doesn't score he's off. But Liverpool are hard done by. My favourite is when Salah fakes for a penalty then piously celebrates the goal. Give me a spell !

Edit : that sounded way angrier than I meant it to. Imagine a smiley face at the end. (I'm a Newcastle man)

Excuse my ignorance but why doesn't a team just park the bus against Man City and scrap out a draw?

Because they just pass around it and still score. They have too much quality

What’s with the insults? Liverpool this season are already ahead of United’s best EVER side and that was before last game? It’s a different era one which is incredibly harder than ever. The bottom side can beat the top on its day, in the past it would never happen. It’s like saying Collingwood’s team in the 40’s would beat the best now.

Not really, points dont mean as much as trophies. That United team won the Premiership, FA Cup and the Champions League.

If this Liverpool wins nothing then is it really that great?

Yeah it happens as in parking the bus but this City side just finds ways through to score. Theres only so long you can hold them out.

There's defensive systems... Newcastle play 5-4-1 solitary striker Rondon, three central defenders and two full/wing backs. Depending on how you use those wide defenders (they can become attackers see Conte at Chelsea) . So Benetiz sets up defensively, sits deep, soaks up pressure and space and hopes to hit on the counter with turnover , long ball to CF (Rondon) who brings it to ground for the midfielders in Perez and Almiron. So there's a line of 4 then 5 sitting deep when not in possession which I guess is like flooding. But you can slightly alter the system to make it more attacking. Generally you give up possession for defensive position and try to force a turnover without losing your shape. It's tactically the most amazing game on the planet.

City won the league by 20 odd last season and without us are 20 odd in front again. If you put your undefeated season in the table you would be lucky to make the top 4. We’ve lost once and probably won’t win the title.

Henry, Vierra, the tuesday club back four and five blokes they found down the pub would beat this year's Liverpool side. Adams would terrify Salah out of the game.

Brighton who are now safe at home vs City.
Liverpool at home to Wolves.

Brighton haven't won a game since March 9 but have 3 draws in their last 4 games.
Wolves have been fantastic against the top 6 but have nothing to play for.
