Great win. Pakistan no pushovers on their home roads. They have some excellent batsmen and their fast bowlers are quality. I think they would have had a better chance if they prepared their pitches with some life in them, would have really tested our batters.

The great spirit the series was conducted stood out for me.
Really good to see. I hope we play Pakistan more regularly as they've a strong core of you talents with bat and ball that are going to challenge sides for some time.
Hats off to Khawaja, he's really making the most of his opportunities in the latter stages of his career.
Cummins was a lion these past 2 tests.

I think this is the most patient and disciplined display I have seen from Australia in recent years.

I would have thought we needed something special from Labuschagne, Warner and Smith when in reality it was Khawaja
Cummins captained well it was a good all-round effort.

                  Re: Australian Tour of Pakistan

Fantastic declaration by Cummins - 350 in 3.5 sessions is a tantalizing target that will mean the team batting last will always think they are a chance to win, even though in reality it would take an amazing effort to chase down the runs on a crumbling pitch.

That is what you want as the bowling captain - you want the batsmen to continue to play their shots rather than going fully defensive and playing for a draw.

                    Re: Australian Tour of Pakistan

On the first ODI a depleted Australia post 313 mainly thanks to Travis Head at the top of the order getting 101 of 72 and some late order hitting from Cameron Green.
In reply Pakistan was all out for 225 with the Ul Haq getting 103 and Zampa taking 4 wickets. Head chipped in with 2 wickets and got the POTM award.
