He doesn't have a compelling T20 record but he is close so who would you take out of the team to make room for him?

Aaron Finch (c), Pat Cummins (vc), Ashton Agar, Tim David, Josh Hazlewood, Josh Inglis, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Kane Richardson, Steven Smith, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Wade, David Warner, Adam Zampa.

He hasn't played a lot of T20, only recently made his T20I debut. Started well opening in India, didn't fare as well back in Australia.

Marsh and Stoinis have returned. Marsh looks like he has picked up where he left off last world cup in imposing form, Stoinis has looked ok. David has come in and looks a player. Finch has been struggling as everyone knows but is the captain and finally hit some form in the last warm up game. Maxwell looks the most vulnerable and is in probably the worst form of his career but you just feel like he is one innings away from exploding and his fielding is still first rate and his bowling offers something different.

I guess there are only 15 spots and you need to cover a few bases.

I think they felt compelled. Stoinis might be under some pressure.

Have really enjoyed watching the Group A and Group B games thus far. Great to see some of the minnows in world cricket (exceptions being SL and WI) perform on the big stage. Great to see the UAE win their first ever WC game (of course happy to see the Netherlands get through (being Dutch background)). I like the format in that the lesser nations have something to play for to make it to the Super 12 stage of the tournament.

Australia playing same time as our AFLW team. Flicking over or recording? Decisions decisions.

I imagine Green won't start in the team but he is hovering for any injuries or poor performances.

I actually watched the Namibian run chase last night. They looked cooked until the tall dude with long hair almost dragged them across the line. Had he hit it 2 metres further they would have won.

Edit: His name is David Wiese. Didn't realise he is an ex-South African international. Explains why he was so good.

Absolutely! The standard's been pretty good too. A lot of these guys are playing first class cricket around the world, and you can definitely see it in the overall development of sides.

Tim Pringle - the left-arm spinner from the Netherlands is a former NZ Under 19 player and it wouldn't surprise me if he moved over properly at some point. Looks a very good bowler at 20 years old. Looking forward to the Windies v Ireland later today (pending weather). This is a pretty seasoned Ireland side - keen to see how they stand up to Joseph and Holder.

Ireland smashing windies all over the park.
I will never see #16 the same!!

It's either a sign of absolute strength in world cricket or a significant weakness.

Ireland romp to win against the Windies with one one wicket down and more 2.5 overs still to be bowled.

Disappointing start by the Australian's losing by 89 runs against the impressive NZ team.
Marsh didn't bowl so you have to wonder why with with the other bowlers getting some stick why we didn't play Green.

We don't seem to ever get the balance right and we now are right behind with our NRR
Can someone explain why Maxwell got out the way that he did? Why play a highly risky shot given the position we were in.
