It absolutely was, as soon as Chelsea got physical we shit the bed. Romero was lucky to not be sent off earlier and Jackson being abysmal meant that we still had a chance at a result.

I was pretty amazed that VAR didn't look at the earlier Romero incident. Think it was only that Chelsea ran down the field and Sterling had the goal that was chalked off that meant it got lost. He may not have got a red but it would have been close. he seemed determined to get a card.

To be fair they were down on personnel and Maddison is a huge loss. Wolves did very well though. Definitely stole it but we were probably due some luck. Check out Sarabia’s goal if you haven’t seen it, the touch and volley is borderline erotic.

Huge win for Man Utd last night over Luton 1-0.

We are just getting by at the moment and have lots of improvement. Ten Hag is under pressure but we need to persist with him and keep at it.

Poch would be feeling the pressure at Chelsea although he is just starting out there.

Half self inflicted but missing 5 of the starting 11 and depth being the long called out weak spot the regression is on. Maddison and VDV will miss 2 months, top 5 always the target but not will need a lot to go right in the 2nd half of the season.

What a game, we are slowly getting there. Going to be a pretty good side when its finished.

That first penalty to MC was a bit dodgy. The MC player fell and reselted in the Chelsea player to fall over the top. He had nowhere to go.

Newcastle look very tired.

It was a poor performance v the cherries, our press was non existent and second balls were rare.

Loads of injuries and a tough schedule really shows how important depth is at this level.

I think the best we can hope for this year is a cup run. Might be a blessing to not have CL next year although it does make it harder to attract talent.
