Agree- the Skateboarding was epic.

It's a shame that the earlier event that Chloe Covell was involved in had such a low completion rate as that brought out the snide comments and people questioning its validity. I saw a short on Chloe Covell on Stan (I think) of her World Championship run and it was freaking epic.

There is a tonne of stuff I would drop out of the Olympics before Skateboarding. I get Equestrian is steeped in history and all of that, but that is the first thing I would scrap. Just making horses travel is reason enough. I don't want to trivialise how hard Equestrian is for the rider- but I don't think motocross should ever be an Olympic sport and I draw the same (maybe long) bow here.

Breakdancing has to be the most ridiculous inclusion of all time. Why stop at breakdancing? Why not ballroom, the chicken dance and the electric boogaloo as well?

Apparently at this stage Break dancing is not included in the next Olympics in LA. Agree, how ridiculous.

The speed climbing was awesome to watch but then again, things finishing quickly is pretty familiar to me.

Not sure skateboarding is an Olympic sport but here we are!

I refuse to recognise it until they bring in my pet event (drinking 5 beers then trying to land a kickflip)

Skateboarding I can get around, no issues.

Breakdancing is a bit of a piss take. 3 x 3 basketball also seems pretty weird.

Individual golf and tennis have no place in the Olympics. If they did it like the Ryder Cup or Davis Cup, that would make more sense.

I find it strange squash isn?t included. I?d also like Pickleball to get included because I have started playing it every week and it?s awesome.

3x3 basketball is ridiculous because the people in the competition wouldn’t be in the top 1500 players at the sport they’re competing in on the planet.

They should bring in footy I reckon. I heard LA was considering bringing in flag football so why not bring footy in for Brisbane. As a host nation you should absolutely use the sport you get to bring in to guarantee a gold medal.

40 years too late. Australia would have smashed the breakdancing competition in the 1984 Olympics just selecting wogs from Reservoir High, Fawkner High and Thomastown High.
