The internet has been like one massive magnifying glass.

Not sure that the world has changed much, it's just we are shining lights in corners we shouldn't be.

I've made the decision not to engage with anything political recently and damn do I feel better.

Control what I can control and all that.

Still waiting for the Breakdancing so i break out my old circa 1984 Adidas track suit, not everyone's cuppa but great that Saya Sakakibara won GOLD! and doing things pretty tough over a period of time, plus dropping the F bomb a few times in the interview afterwards gives her more brownie points imo.

Did that a few years ago now.

Just a huge de-stress. I remind myself that I own a small business in Perth - have 12- staff and about 1000 clients. I coach a footy team - all up 90 players and 2000 members...say 12-staff I need to interact with. I have my wife, 3 kids and now one grand-kid.

That's my world. Stuff outside of that I can't really control or influence. If it doesn't make you money or doesn't make you happy, you don't need to engage with it.

Ignorance is calling it out when it didn’t occur. I admitted I was wrong, a few other assumed poorly, did some selective quoting but they are ok.

Imane Khelif beat the shit out of her Hungarian opponent who had been calling her a monster, posting AI images of her as a monster etc, and burst into tears.

Must be pretty cathartic to get to do that and after all the attacks from people against her can only imagine how emotional it must be.

Can you point me to the evidence of this being the case?

You cannot have more definitive evidence than XY chromosomes.

This is a sporting competition, not life. The Algerian and Taiwanese athletes have every right to live life as women if they choose to. However, they shouldn't have the automatic right to a seat at the table in a women's competition when they have XY chromosomes.

This should not be a controversial take but apparently it is.
