You cannot have more definitive evidence than XY chromosomes.

This is a sporting competition, not life. The Algerian and Taiwanese athletes have every right to live life as women if they choose to. However, they shouldn't have the automatic right to a seat at the table in a women's competition when they have XY chromosomes.

This should not be a controversial take but apparently it is.

Point me to the sanctioned and non-subjective testing that has confirmed this in the case with each athlete, and then point me to the science that states chromosomal sex, biological sex and hormonal sex and the impacts each has on physical athletic performances are as cut and dry as you're trying to make them out to be.

In the instance of each athlete it may be simple, but it's not proved to be in any scientific way. This is why I don't get the outrage and the insensitivity.

I've taken no position on the issue because I am not across the facts.

You've jumped in with the highly opinionated position and then admitted you don't know anything about it.

My advice to you was to give consideration to being informed before taking a stance.

Are you telling me to think about myself because I've chosen to not comment on an issue I don't know enough about? Because that's a bit weird.

Going back to what I originally wrote. I have little doubt her opponents thought that. That’s a look more right than saying her opponent cried because she was hit on the nose.

This is weird. I haven't made any comments on you or what I think about you. I don't have an opinion on you. I don't know you.

Are you saying your first comment was not highly opinionated?

My advice is that you should be informed before commenting. I think that's a normal rational piece of advice to offer. And before you say "think about yourself" I will say I do - that's why I haven't given an opinion on this issue that I am not well enough informed about.

Best Olympics for us - very exciting.

Loved the team pursuit to beat the Brits. Women's Pole Vault was incredible and I love the two skateboarders - something I would have loved as a teenager.

Bizarre - how unlucky

Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat was disqualified hours before her gold medal match for exceeding the 50kg restriction by 100 grams despite even cutting off her hair in an attempt to fight for gold.
