Are they a bit tight with their finances or is it more likely that they thought they could do better?

They aren't tight they did just spend ?65m on Solanke and TBH that's not a great buy.

I think they just play naive football, everyone knows what they are going to do and can easily prepare for it.

Just subscribed to Optus Sport so will be able to watch the Man Utd and other games now. Discount as well because I'm an Optus customer.

Watched Man Utd on Optus Sport. Great to have subscribed.

Nice win. Relieved to hang on there at the end as Brentford were pushing for an equaliser.

Brentford went up 1-0 before half time and early on in the 1st half played quite well. We were dominant in the 2nd half.

Garnacho played a great game and scored a great goal by an assist from Rashford and Rasmus scored to get us in the lead.

The pressure on Brighton was next level, watching it I was thinking we look like we're in a good space after the International break, settling.

Unfortunately the second to last touch was putrid.

Well, shit. I’ll put my money on City to win a VAR review over Wolves any day of the week. At least we didn’t get blown out.

I should know better than to stay up after sleeping in the evening to watch a game against one of the big clubs. The dicksucking is unbearable from the commentary, as is the BS from the referees.

Bruno G clearly downed just outside the box, no free, VAR check no yellow/ red.

To Chelsea's credit they scored a great goal on the counter, but that was after really solid pressure from Newcastle to push them back. No mention of it from the commentary. Just a Chelsea ****fest.

Newcastle's equaliser was a brilliant team goal. Patience and control. Again, barely a mention of it's grit and quality.

Great game, tied at half time. Pity about the coverage.

Massive start to the second from Chelsea. Came out of the gates and we were rattled.

Palmer has an amazing leg. Pity he declined a swap of kit asked of him by one of the young NUFC subs. Shit effort.

We should have levelled, Isaak is so out of touch. He's getting a bit better though.

Good game overall. Chelsea's at ground game vibe is so vanilla.

Is just a game of revenue now.

You have it, you can spend. You don't you can't.

                      Palmer is freakish.

Credit to Chelsea they've rebuilt well after their previous regime. Like the youth approach.

Isak seems unsettled. If we don't bring in some talent in Winter might lose a few.

The league doesn't want a change to the status quo.

                      Aston Villa should be careful!

We lose to West Ham and then probably come out and beat Chelsea next week.

FFS. Now we get them on the bounce. Shit timing.

Cracking win for us on the weekend, this young team is really growing week by week. Jackson looking like a real quality CF and what more can you say about Palmer.....he's going to end up our GOAT.

How that wasn't a red when Bruno was dropped is anyone's guess.

Palmer must be so hard to read Pope had nfi but he shouldn't be beaten near post like that.

                                The foul by Colwill?

Wasn't a red as he wasn't the last defender.
