While it looked precarious for a while until that run out and we then bounced back brilliantly to get some late wickets and really swing momentum our way
    Australia all out for 474
India 5 for 164 and we have a 310 run lead.
A couple of early wicks tomorrow could see us with a very handy 1st innings lead.

Pant and Jadeja will be more than a handful both being quality batsmen and both especially Pant can make runs at a fast click, that run out was massive for us as Jaiswal was in awesome form today and could have gone really big, Kohli lost his way a bit after than then getting out, as he himself was looking really solid, Boland again causing some havoc, if we can get Pant and Jadeja out early that will be massive.

The Indians rallied brilliantly today even after the two early wickets. Fantastic innings from Reddy and Sundar
The pressure is now on us to make a game of this with only 116 lead and one wicket to take.

It will be interesting to see how we finish the first session tomorrow. Lets say we have 100 run lead ideally we need to build that to 180 by the end of the session.

We should be allowing ourselves four sessions to bowl at them. We'll get a bat early in the day and need to make sure we don't collapse. Massive pressure on our bats tomorrow.

The bad light/rain came at a good time for us. Would've been a tricky half hour or so against Bumrah under lights in overcoast conditions.

Sun will be back out tomorrow. Pitch still looks really good. Play positive cricket, ideally get to a lead of 350 and declare with around an hour left of play in the day. Quicks get 5 or 6 overs each to steam in and take a couple early.

I dunno if three sessions plus an hour is enough at them, and while 350 should be enough I'm worried about the deck doing nothing on day five.

Good call re the weather helping us.

If we assume that we get the last wicket quickly I can see us trying to get the scoring rate off to a quick start. We would need to get the lead of around 200 by the end of the first session.
We aren't in a great spot because getting a sufficient lead and enough time to bowl them out will be a real test for us.

I'm sensing an old fashioned top order collapse after 45 off 25 from the new guy.

Well we wrapped it up quickly and we are now batting. The pressure is now on to build an inning...quickly.

The Indians were smart early on with Konstas setting a field for his ramp shots knowing they cannot let the lead get out of hand, apart from a nice hook shot for 4 he had to more or less play straight which played into Bumrahs hands.

Was just awesome seeing the reaction from Reddy's dad in the stands then the embrace after the days play, that is what it's all about, he will be around for a long time, just a brilliant talent.

Real smarts by India. They did their homework

Not a bad first session considering the energy India brought this morning, they were certainly on knowing how much is on the line with this game, Kohli was leading the charge in the field more or less leading the side, Bumrah is just sublime, take him out of the equation and the game get's that much easier for the Aussies.

Was almost predictable with Konstas after all the hype of his first innings, needs to close up that gap between bat and pad otherwise bowlers will have a field day with him.

We are going to need a bit of a partnership here to at least give ourselves a chance. Not surprising the way we have batted.
Marnus has been impressive because he was prepared to gut it out.
