If we had toughed it out on day 1 and had been 4/100 at stumps instead of all out 127 (we only faced 45 overs) we could have set about making a decent fist of getting 270+ which would have put us in a dominant position.

          Watson out for 97.

Seriously, he's making Michael Slater look like a rock in the 90s.

Exactly right, we all know that pitch was never going to be a 500 score pitch, but it also wasn't a 127 all out pitch either, even 250 would have seen us in a decent positon.

              Pa-pow. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Thank goodness he's making some scores though, no one else is.. if not for Watson this summer we would have lost the last four Tests.

Clarke goes, leaving Australia 11 runs in front with 6 wickets in hand. Anyone else think it was a selfish use of the referral system, and exactly the opposite of how it should be utilized?

North better pull his finger out.

Imagine the reactions here towards him if he wasn't holding up our batting and making the majority of our runs.

97 still a great score, Well done Watto.

We'd call him a knob, and laugh at his batting.

For now, we just call him a knob.

I don't mind him being a knob, but only as long as he keeps making runs.

I had a laugh today at Hughes batting.
