That said, right now, is the best time to at, day 2 & 3 also good to bat on, i'm tipping it won;t be so easy comeday 5, just as it was hard to bat on day 1, and i reckon that was Pontings main concern.
If we had toughed it out on day 1 and had been 4/100 at stumps instead of all out 127 (we only faced 45 overs) we could have set about making a decent fist of getting 270+ which would have put us in a dominant position.

Exactly right, we all know that pitch was never going to be a 500 score pitch, but it also wasn't a 127 all out pitch either, even 250 would have seen us in a decent positon.
