    I was being sincere!

I'm a big fan of how he's playing, and although he can appear an arrogant prick at times, I personally don't mind it - as long as he doesn't take it too far.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

It will probably be Henriques or Khawaja or some other NSW nancy boy. Or he'll just stay in the side, so Punter has someone to chat to in the slips.

They will probably just move Hughes to 6

Haddin goes (and uses the last referral). Kaneria is showing why Ponting didn't want to bat last on this wicket.

It's fair to say that Australia are in the s***, but don't rule out Pakistan crumbling.

With Johnson gone now you would think the Paki's could crumble for anything less than 100?

We badly need another 100 runs to push the target over 150.

150 would give us a fighting chance, as it's just enough to make the flaky Paki batting line up a touch nervous.

Anything less will be a walk in the park.

Lead is 51, with only Bollinger and Siddle to come.

No way Hauritz -- solid as he is -- is anywhere near as good as these Paki spinners in any case.

                    Re: Australia vs Pakistan

Drop North, bring back Katich, bat Watson at 3, Ponting 4 or 5, Hussey back to the anchor role at 6 or 5.

Hopefully we bat out to stumps and there's plenty of cloud cover tomorrow

If Katich isn't fit for the 3rd test as being reported they will not make any changes.

Even though its clear they need to.

Will be an interesting touring party to NZ in March, I think North will be apart of it, but clearly he shouldn't be.

Not sure in the logic in dropping Watson down to 3 as some people are suggesting. Him and Katich are our most two reliable bats at the moment. So keep them as is.

All well and good if you have match that lasts 5 days. One thing is almost certain, you'll have 1st day. Also it may spin on day 5 but it spun on day 1 and it's not because the pitch crumbled.

Exactly right, we all know that pitch was never going to be a 500 score pitch, but it also wasn't a 127 all out pitch either, even 250 would have seen us in a decent positon.
Fact - the score was 127. We are going around in circles, it was better to Pakistan batting on day 1 then Australia regardless of how they batted. Not sure how anyone now can't see it was the wrong decision

It's only better that Pakistan batted because we batted like s***.
