    Australia vs India

A new Test series is about to start and the hype is palpable

Good to see North knock out a century against some park bowlers to guarantee his spot.

Hussey and Bollinger have just finished up the T20 stuff, bypassing any tour preparation. It says a lot about how Test cricket is going at the moment.

Anyone care to give a prediction?
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

India will win the test series 3 zip, but we will win the one dayers.

I think we will struggle to win but we might only lose one game.
Watson and Katich are the keys to hold the batting together.

Jeez they would have to be going well to win a test that isnt even scheduled

I cant see the Indian attack taking 20 wickets on their flat pitches, Ishant is toothless as of late, Harbajhan is in a trough and Sreesanth (if he plays) hasn't done much for a while. Khan remains a threat but I cant see him taking massive bags. Im backing Australia to win 1-0 with Clarke being man of the series.

Maybe not, but I do think a few poor batting displays from Australia is more likely. Especially in India and especially with little or no preparation

Australia 1/27 after winning the toss & batting. Katich out LBW for 6.

Watson dropped by Sehwag 2nd ball of the day at gully on 0, hopefully he can make them pay!

Strange over by Sharma. Kept overstepping. Appeared to have Ponting caught down the leg side, only it was a no ball, the fourth of the over (only bowled 1 legitimate ball). 19 runs off the over.

Dhoni just put Watson down off the spinner Ojha, certainly some errors being made

You wouldn't want to be batting last on this track, Australia hopefully push on and get a big total here

No, I didn't mean that way. You would think after bowling 3 consecutive no balls, you would be very mindful of where you placed your front foot after that!

Ponting is looking super crisp, hopefully he can go onto a big one

I find it disappointing that a supposed world super power in India can't attract a crowd. It's not like they don't have fans & passion is not an issue. Can only be the cost.
