    Re: 2011-12 EPL Thread

Starting to feel for Torres. A balls width away from scoring(twice last night) for the forth game in a row. He seems ready to explode but it's just not happening.

The 11th consecutive Premier League game he's failed to score. There's something just not right if you ask me. I have no idea what it is, but a player just doesn't lose the class Torres has.

For the record, I don't feel sorry for him.

        I don't blame you.

Torres is trying his guts out though and setting up quite a few goals and apparently he is red hot on the training track.

          Just lost all confidence
That was a sitter he missed, and wondering if Chelsea will sell him ?
Just how long will Anfield keep confidence in Dalgleish?

He will need to have a better second half of the season. Looks likely neither he or Drogs(China here he comes) will be there next season.

Wigan will have to pull out a major miracle to stay up in the EPL this year. They have been riding their luck for a couple of seasons but I think it's run out now.

What a cracker of a second half between Totts and MC.

Feel a bit(only a little bit) for Spurs with Defoe just missing a goal at the end. Plus Balotelli wins a penalty in the 94th minute of injury time, when he could have been sent off for a stamp on Parker; and said stamp warranted the extra minutes of injury time because of the treatment Parker needed.

He should have received a red card for that, but the ref had his back to the incident. A subsequent please explain & suspension will be cold comfort to Spurs (& Man Utd for that matter).

Balotelli is THE biggest f-wit in sport today.

                            Lescott should feel lucky IMO.

I'm managing to resist the urge to feel sorry for them too.

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Watching this weeks games make you appreciate our winters(and the roof) so much more.

Hope we are not snowed out tonight.
