Re: EPL/UEFA Transfer Rumors/Updates/Announcements
Diogo Jota sold to Pool for £41m. On the one hand I’m particularly disappointed as his best is top quality. On the other hand, that’s a lot of money for a guy who is really streaky and can be pretty frustrating.
Wolves get Ki-Jana Hoever from Pool for £9m in return in a seperate deal. I don’t know anything about him but we need help at right wing back and it sounds like he’s that guy. Only 18 though. We’ve been recruiting very young, Marcal aside.

Micky Edwards and Pep Lijnders finally pull the trigger on Liverpool's window.
Thiago from Bayern and Jota from Wolves.
Equally excited about both these signings and I think only paying 10% in the first year for both is why Michael Edwards is the best in the business.
For a side who won the Premier League by 20 for some reason i felt we were at times a little vulnerable in the midfield so Thiago is absolutely perfect and world class.
Jota is the backup for Mane and Salah we needed. He reminds me of Mane when he was at Southampton and apparently Pep really wanted him so I'm excited to see how he develops.

KJH will develop into a top player, we didn't want to lose him and rate him highly. Unfortunately just have too many options for his spot, he keeps his head and is preety strong with the ball for an 18yr old I think at one stage he was our youngest ever starter in the F.A. Cup at 16.
Both Clubs should be happy with our business and both sums were connected to suit both sides.
Jota will be much better suited to our style and KJH will be able to develop with Wolves so its a win win.
We have a sell on clause with KJH but hopefully he develops and you keep him.

Losing Fabregas was a huge kick in the guts. We signed him young and developed him into one of the best midfielders in the world. I can kind of understand though because the pressure on him to return home must have been immense. Especially after Spain won the World Cup. Having said that having him last season might have just one us some silverware. Not the Premier League title but maybe one of the domestic cups.
Nasri* just wanted too much-City are welcome to him. Good player but the money Man C are paying him is just insane.
*My son said a swear word when I told him that Nasri had scored for France last night. Under the circumstances I let it slide.
Gone from a 14 to to a 22 yo. Swears a lot now. It's his business.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
