Or he may stay. As hes said a few times he'll make his mind up at the end of the season, if Madrid chase him he'll go there if not he'll extend with us.

It all comes down to if Real want him, I've got a feeling that they may chase Salah instead.

No way they will get Salah. They can throw whatever they want at him but he won’t go there or anywhere. He is treated like a king at Liverpool, he is one that the sun and glitz and glamour won’t work on.

Many players have left their clubs when they were kings of the place. If players stayed because they were treated well and given everything then Van Persie and Fabregas would still be at Arsenal.

You're living in the 1980s which, funnily enough, is when you guys last won anything of note.

Many players have left their clubs when they were kings of the place. If players stayed because they were treated well and given everything then Van Persie and Fabregas would still be at Arsenal.

I didn’t say big players don’t leave their clubs, this time last year we lost our best player remember. I said him Salah, the one who Chelsea said wasn’t good enough, the Egyptian who had to go to Italy to get a kick. The same Egyptian who got another chance through Liverpool, the same bloke who came back and is rewriting record books and the same bloke who is in the middle of unfinished business. Sometimes you come across someone who sun, glitz and glamor isn’t a must have in their life, something an Arsenal supporter probably doesn’t understand.

Funnily enough the irony of an Arsenal supporter not rating winning a Champions League made me laugh so thanks TD

I've never rated the European competitions. You wouldn't have to look back very far through the threads here to see that I've been very critical of Wenger for limiting our ambitions to finishing in a spot high enough to qualify for Europe but not trying to win the EPL. You can keep the European Leagues all I'm interested in is the EPL or the FA Cup.

And rightly so I bit down hard I know you’ve always been critical of Wenger but do you honestly believe it was his fault you only finished high enough to qualify. I think your letting the players off the hook to a certain extent, there were a few times you were top but would fall away eventually. I’m sure Wenger would’ve loved to have won a couple more league titles.

I love the Champions League and everything it brings, but I would take a league title over it everyday of the week.

I love the Champions League and everything it brings, but I would take a league title over it everyday of the week.

He gets the boss money, he takes the boss criticism. He made the decision to take thin squads into the season and to not bolster them in the January window. There were times when, like a cup favorite, we'd round the bend well in front but you could see the horses on our tail were going to swamp us but nothing was done to strengthen the squad. I put most of that at Wenger's feet. He was the manager who finished (seemingly happily to qualify for Europe and nothing else) fourth season after season.

If Real want to make Salah the Galatico to replace Ronaldo(who they havent replaced yet) theres not much Pool can do to stop it.

It'll probably be a decision between Neymar, Mbappe, Hazard and Salah.

Well he is contracted to 2023 and doesn’t have a release clause, I don’t think we have to do anything. If you thought Coutinho’s money was ridiculous then the money they would need for Salah would make that look like pocket change.

I won't be surprised if he pushes for a move if you slip up again. You don't hold players he won't to leave, no matter how good they are.
