Haha they paid him a fortune to come in, make them worse and tell everybody who would listen how crap the club and the players are. And then just walked away.

    United are a dumpster fire.

Yeah we are certainly rock bottom at the moment. I think our aim next season will be top 4, try and win the domestic cup comps FA cup/League Cup and go for the Europa League. Can’t see us winning the EPL. Liverpool and Man City the standouts there.

                Nice get.

Unfortunately looks like an arrest for one of the London club's players overnight.

Eriksen to United pending medical. Shame he didn't stay at Brentford.

Whoa. What a busy 24 hours for us, first unveiling Sterling(what a signing), then agreeing a deal for Koulibaly(perfect for us) and now close capturing Kimpembe and Ake too. I thought we may struggle to replace Azpi, Ruiger and Christensen in the heart of our defence but you'd have to say we maybe upgrading them.

                    Boehly doing some fancy work.

Could come here and bitch about Wolves lack of transfer action, but man what the hell is going on with Barcelona? They’re basically a Ponzi scheme now, right? Spending a fortune on new players while still owing money on past transfer fees and not having paid some player wages for last season. Absolute travesty.

Busy couple of weeks for us. Cucurella cost a fortune but he's going to be a cult hero at the Bridge. Will be a great buy.

Chukwuemeka from Villa looks a likely type and one for the future.

Trying hard for Fofana and Frenkie De Jong.

Werner and Alonso being sold also good for us.

                        The curse is dead.

I was surprised with Cucurella, I thought he was ok at Brighton but not worth that much ! They really cashed in.

To be fair I don't watch a lot of Brighton games only when they play the Toon and some highlights so I'm speaking from relative ignorance (when has that stopped anyone).

You guys are splashing the cash. European spots are going to be hard fought this season.

Nah, Cucurella is a gun. was Brighton's best footballer last season. Theres a reason Pep and Tuchel were chasing him. Not a heap of top quality LBs around.

I think we are all shocked about Chelsea, everyone thought our huge spending days were dead with Roman gone but Boehlys said hold my beer. Which i guess shouldn't be a shock as thats what he did at The Dodgers. Pretty exciting they are going to splash the cash on Stamford Bridge too increase crowd size and revenue income.

I don't understand what's going on there. Apparently they have all these levers to pull to get them out of the mire, but future spending when you're in financial trouble is seriously fraught.

I heard they can sell off some media arm and they will be ok, still...seems irresponsible.

Hyper-inflated transfer costs are going to kill some clubs.

I’m old enough to remember Chelsea splashing the cash on players like Lukaku and Werner.
