I think Soton were wainting to sign a replacement first, which they've just about got in Clasie.

Sounds like its pretty much done. Would have been great for Arsenal and surprised hes not going there.

Oh well. I'm well used to missing out on players. Like you say he would have been better coming to us. At least he would play

We finally get our striker, finally have a big target! £36.2 overpaid as usual but it had to be done.

With Ibe and Origi them 3 are some big boys. Great Off season and we are ready. No excuses now, can't wait for it to all start. YNWA.

Yea was quiet, but Vill didn't have much else and Wenger put the clamps on him, being at Liverpool if he is clamped it will bring someone else into it.

Yea still kicking, been linked here there and everywhere, then his dad died and went on leave and we left him out of the tour. We tried giving him away on loan and had no luck I think.

Cant see him staying to be honest.

no predictions for him he could kick 20, he could also bust. Either way we have a motivated big target, watching us trying to break down a tight Chelsea defense with a mosquito fleet and Sterling as Striker was excruciating.

Good on Villa for holding out on the Price, he isn't worth the £32 on the open market but he is to us. Lacazette was a pipedream.

Benkete is a high reward risk. I'm suprised at the price tag but can see him being a success at Anfield. He's the sort of player that will really relish playing in front of the Kop.
