Ake will be a great get for Pep. Wish we had of bought him back.

While the Saudis are pirating the EPL telecast in their country they were never going to be allowed to have a team.

It’s definitely a good thing. I just hope someone can come along and take the team off Ashley’s hands for the Newcastle fans sake.

Sheffield United is owned by Saudis. It's a massive cluster fk. Not unexpected though, Qatar has a lot of pull (evidence). Not sure how they get the rights to exclusively broadcast to another country with their state owned Bein sports but that's the bed they've made (the PL) and they have to choose the most legal side, or the one they've invested in the most.
Ashley will be there forever !

Theres no posturing at all by Zorc, Dortmund have said all along and reiterated that yesterday that if you want him you'll have to pay their €120m valuation.

I think Covid has stuffed Uniteds plans and you'll have to wait another 12 months. Which is fair enough as its a lot to spend on one player in this crisis with clubs being financially hit.

Thiago Silva on a free to us too apparently, Roman must think hes playing FIFA.

Apparently he didn’t want any defensive reinforcements over and above a 35 year old. But I guess if you have the ball and score 5 goals a game, defensive stability doesn’t matter. It’s interesting that they’re splashing the cash so hard, when most teams are playing it safe.

Wolves apparently close to bringing in Maitland-Niles from Arsenal for around £20 million. Haven’t seen enough of him to really evaluate, but he seems to have flexibility to play back or midfield which Nuno prizes, and we need extra cover for Jonny who is out for at least 6 months.

Forgot about Chilwell, he's another good, if pricey pick-up and yeah, Thiago on a free is a solid pick up. We'll see how he handles the Prem for the first time at that age.

21 month suspended sentence is past the line of fun...United will have to take some action you’d think.
They’d be hoping they don’t draw any Greek teams in European comp this year.
