    Re: 2012-13 EPL Thread

Lukaku gets the winner again for WBA.

This guys a beast and I can't wait to see him back in the blues jersey next season. Should be leading our line instead of Torres.

Thanks for the early Christmas present Chelsea.

Super effort by the blues for Super Frank in his 500th PL game. 8 nil with 7 different scorers. Magic.

Also nice to see Piazon make his debut, this kid is going to be a star.

I think we should win at home against Newcastle. It is a tough period in the season for all teams. It can definitely make or break a few teams.

And thats why united is on top, they win the games they should draw and draw the ones they should lose. Looks like to battle for second is all we can hope for. Lucky there is some cups to keep the season interesting.

                      Stoke City 3-1 Liverpool

We win against Newcastle but once again our defence is our big weakness.

Great result in the end , but they're defending like a pub team .
I think Chelsea are still in it, but there's still a few twists yet.

That's our major concern Remi. Will really need to rectify our defence. Real Madrid is going to be a tough last 16 ECL tie for us. The positive is we are winning and 7 points clear at the top.

If we get a striker in January I agree, but I think our flat spot in November is going to hurt us.

I watched the Man U v Newcastle clash. Great game for the neutral. Newcastle led 3 times & ultimately lost 4-3.

Funny, when United leveled for the 3rd time you felt certain they'd go on to score the winner.

No, its not a fluke, they've been doing it for years & years. I guess with that history there's 2 things that come in to play 1) a belief that they can do it & b) fear from their opponents that they'll ultimately conceded.

I'm not a Man U fan, not by a long way, but I respect the 'never say die' attitude they posses.

In a way the Bulldogs are polar opposite in my view. When its close I always feel we'll concede a late one. I felt like that in 1997 & it was like watching a train wreck, you knew what was going to happen but just couldn't look away.

                                Same here.

I look forward to the day that SAF is no longer their manager.
