He got a Premiership medal last year but most of the reasons he left have been addressed (pay structure, better players in the squad). If I was him I'd be thinking I was poorly advised by my manager. He could be captain and star player in a Premiership winning club.

Also the better players in the squad argument is weak to me, only Ozil has been bought.

Yep, even though they've lost 7 of 8 they havent been that bad and are not that far gone.

Seems you need a manager to get promoted, then a new one to stay up.

Yeah Halloway is shit. When he became manager they dropped from 1st to 5th and had to fluke their way through the playoffs. Should have been sacked as soon as they got promoted.

Have zero confidence in this weeks match as ManC have had the wood over us for a number of years with Yaya usually destroying us.

The games between us, City and Arsenal are probably going to decide to title IMO so we need to get something out of the game.

Might stay up to watch us against Stoke City. I'm hoping we can get the 3 points because we really need them and Stoke haven't been in the best form. Hopefully the win in the Champions League in midweek gives us a bit of confidence. My brother is a Chelsea fan and is getting excited about the clash against Man. City. No doubt that one is the match of the round.

That's what worries me. We can look absolutely terrible without Kompany and are so often caught out on the break.
