    Re: South African Tour

Very good session, perfect situation for Watson at 6 to walk in to as well. Lots of freedom and he looks dangerous with 21 off 19 so far

After an initial struggle it ended as a good session for Australia with just the loss of one wicket. I think we scored just under 100 for the session.

Need to lift the run rate and bat for another hour.

Nice innings from Warner, would like to see him start going on with this scores in the way Gayle and Sehwag have been able to but at the moment he is the most in form opener in the world.
Well said re. Clarke could not have said it better.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Duminy has 4, can't wait to see what Lyon does on this considering how dry it is

Great patient innings from Clark, 161 not out off 301 balls, has been a very good captains innings. Unfortunately with rain stopping play, and maybe more to come, this one is heading for a draw and a drawn series.

I wouldn't be so sure as of yet. An overnight declaration is certain I'd have thought and there will be a lot of pressure on the South Africans, they are basically in an unwinnable position. The rain may spice up the pitch which is already turning fairly big, I think Clarke and Lehmann will be backing our attack in here.

Test matches can turn upside down in half an hour. That's what makes them so special.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

BTW does anyone know what the weather was like on the fifth day of the second test?

Early reports were sunshine for the next 3 days.

I think Lem may have said somewhere that it was sunny.

Nice and sunny, were a few showers late in the Afternoon but not much play would have been lost

The forecast for today is mostly overcast but with no rain. Perfect for Australia to bowl.

Great delivery to get Smith out.

Should be an interesting days play.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Wonderful catch from Haddin and Patto is back amongst it! He has made a very good start so far, very nice areas at high pace

Spoke too soon, slogged out of the attack. Need to break up Amla/de Villiers early to really put some pressure on
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.
