Harris getting some reverse here, gets Amla with a ripper. I'd be getting Watto back on quick-smart, very handy when the ball is going Irish

And has rattled through them before. On the last tour.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Harris bowled a corker to to Faf first ball. Was that a faint inside edge?

Do we go enforcing the follow on if available? I'm all for it, looks like the best opportunity to win the game

I would. I love the follow on rule.

If South Africa hang around a while longer, we could easily be bowling for 200 consecutive overs. That would still leave us 80 overs to chase, so unless we scuttle the tail quickly I would rather give the bowlers a break
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

My thinking was that we'd have them out prior to Tea. Now that they've managed to extend it this far I'm with you, would bat again

No great shock they batted again.
I think if they were bowled out for 200 they would have enforced the follow on.
Harris was back to his best, and helped by some careless batting.
Just wondering if they tried to emulate the Aussies by being aggressive at the top, and going against their natural game .

                          Re: South African Tour

The problem is now how long do we bat for? I think the first session is starting 30 minutes early again but even allowing for that I think we would need to bat past lunch. Is that a big enough break for the bowlers and can we score enough runs?

Pattinson looks a little underdone with his fitness so it might fall back to Harris, Johnson and Lyon to carry the load.

Lyon will probably do most of the bowling on a last day pitch anyway.

Yep tend to agree now after the big partnership between De poles sis and Philander.

Feeling a bit tired today after not being able to stop watching till quite late.

Going to be a crucial first session. I'd like to see us declare so we can bowl 6/8 overs before tea.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?
