If that 60mil was spent properly(Spurs show its not done last season with the Bale money), thats a cracking deal. Sanchez is a fantastic player.

If only Lukaku could play as well as he can talk, he'd be a super star. Needs to learn to shut up.

His market value is 30mil and he is having a good cup. The deal definitely has me thinking. The only worry is Madrid's interest in Sterling and obviously the chance of wasting it and being back to square one.

Lovely to see that they will be eliminated. I can't believe that he did not shake hands with the US players. Disgusting.

Torres, Reina starts, Costa not wanted.

Hope Leckie goes on with it.

                    Straya started well.

I guess im a bit sick of him being a rent-a-quote nowadays, i hope this is not what he's going to be like moving forward. He is still a beast (well not for Belgium though).

He's got a fair bit ahead of himself ATM.

Costa not fit, shouldn't have been taken to Brasil in the first place.

I am worried about Mexico. They look good.

Predictions of pending doom were off the mark .
Pleasing tournament, but some work to do.
Will be a different type of pressure when hosting next years Asia cup, as we'll be expected to do well.
                            Matthew Leckie the standout

                              Gee that's poor from Ronaldo.

Big night tonight. Italy v Uruguay to get the last place in the round of 16 - I wonder if Italy will park the bus and try and hold on for the draw as they have the GD advantage over Uruguay?

Greece on last chance saloon against Ivory Coast as well - not without a chance but will have to develop a better killer instinct in the front 1/3rd
