But I'm probably wasting my time arguing with a Pool supporter about anything Pool, love your passion.

And seriously, Suarez cops it from the media cause he's a flog (he was bating them again after the England game apparently) not because hes a good player.
How on earth can you put any spin on what happened with Evra.
They wanted Beckham hung after 98, they had a vicious hate campaign against Cleverley, they hated the Neville Brothers as well.

Terry did a Wayne Carey not the same. Suarez got 18 weeks all up and the idiots still hate him. They want him to go home because their isn't a defender in the PL that can go with him. He gave the League 5 games headstart and still belted them for the boot.

He is underdone from recent surgery steps in and gets a brace on the biggest stage. If Uruguay goes through to the final 8 he will give the boot a shake in the Cup. His stats from last season is on par if not better than any striker on the planet. So feel free to put up someone who is better.

They boo him but make no mistake they all want him.
No doubt he's a great footballer.
You have to differentiate between the person and the footballer however.

The English want him deported? He's going to deport himself to Italy or Spain in a couple of months.

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Iran desperately unlucky not to get something out of the game.
Absolute magic goal from Messi, but Argentina looked out of answers for most part.

Bosnia unlucky too, having a goal wrongly disallowed and being fouled and missed in the assist for Nigeria's winner. Home they go.

I wouldn't say comfortably, if you go on season alone then he is right with them, im only counting league form. What he needs is to back it up next season then there will be no discounting him. Obviously to us he is the best .

His words after the England game was very personal, no doubt he carries alot of hurt the way he was hung out to dry. He stuffed up but they turned bigtime and he was trialled by media. He has obviously waited for the right time and no better way than to send them packing.

Yea fair enough, the only thing is if he keeps hitting the back of the net then you can look past certain faults.

He might be a little miss understood, we only see in the media. By all reports he is a strong family man, he keeps trying his guts out whether its the 10th minute or the 94th. So they are preety good qualities right there.

I said they were Idiots, they were twittering all day to deport him when he gets back to England?

The rumors will come and the usual talk of him going will get heavier, Barca have already started, don't think they can afford the massive price it will take.

Real probably can, but he will be 28 I think and the price will be 90 plus. We have finally made CL and he has unfinished business at Pool. Just can't see him going personally. But who knows.

Not sure you looked past them, but you certainly put up with them.

You must get why everyone bar Pool fans don't like him.

Apparently Barca will be into him after the cup finishes with the club saying(or leaking through their club radio station) he has a buyout of €65m which they'll hit. I guess we just have to wait and see, very hard to knock back Barca.

I reckon(or hope) he stays for one more season.

Thoughts on the Ghana v Germany game. Thought both teams had chances to win. It was a really good 2nd half. I like the look of Ghana but they will struggle to get to the next round. Germany weren't that impressive especially defensively but as always they will be thereabouts at the business end of the competition.

Watched the 2nd half of Argentina v Iran - Iran played well on the counter and had some really good chances. Argentina held the ball well but failed to penetrate - luckily for them they have Messi who can create goals out of nothing. Haven't been impressed with Argentina as yet but again they will probably end up being there at the business end due to their experience.

Yea I do get it, probably the same reason I don't like Rooney. He obviously had some trouble settling in England and needed to grow up. This season he worked his ass off and won all the awards, he looks to have turned the corner. He definitely has paid his dues nobody can say he hasn't.

But like you said I'm a Pool supporter so....

Was looking forward to the Belgium v Russia game but it was very underwhelming. For a team that was much hyped, Belgium have been pretty ordinary in both games thus far. They have qualified for the next round and may reach the Quarters but can't see them progressing beyond that.

Ronaldo is a spoilt brat of the highest order, Portugals exit is only days away.
