Love seeing Spain get it handed to them on the soccer field.

In other news, We looked completely out of our depth in that first 25 minutes but you could really sense some players belief growing. Leckie and Bresciano have both been playing well for us.

First 10 minutes we were fine but we lost the plot for 15 minutes, especially down back. Came back really well in last 20 minutes of the half. We'll be a decent team in the next 2-4 years.

The Chileans don't mind a tatt. Even the coach has one.

This is a great effort by Australia since the first 15 minutes. They could draw this or even win. Chile are poor defensively and will be lucky to make it past the group stage.

Cahill stiff to not get a penalty.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

How many times was Cahill manhandled in that second half. Great effort from the Socceroos, that last goal at the 92min mark really didn't tell the full story.

Terrific after the first 15 minutes.
Chile no only one way, and considering the possession stats it was amazing to have that Many shots.

Would like to see any except the following do well: Spain/Italy/France/Germany/Holland/England/Brazil.

Got a bit of Howard Webb about him.
The bloke who went down, i think it was Fred, was very ordinary. The refs are going to have their work cut out if that continues.

Germany I think will do well and I think Belgium will be the darkhorse. Brazil I think will do ok but there inexperience will show in the end and they will go out maybe around qtr final, semi final stage. England to be knocked out in the last 16 or 8 again

Didn't watch the match but sounds like we were quite gallant in defeat.

Too bad you've only got one of their players though

But in all seriousness he should be good.

There is talk of them getting Martins Indi and Janmaat - two players who have developed nicely over the last couple of years.
