Re: Socceroos Thread
Yeah hopefully we can do well. Will see how it pans out. I'd say we are certainly one of the stronger teams in Asia. Compared to the world though we still have work to do."Footscray people are incredible people; so humble. I'm just so happy - ecstatic"Comment

I fear for Ange if the Aussies don't at least make the final of the Asian cup.
The Sydney mafia will be all over him, but it's a weak squad .Comment

How far do you think will go in the tournament Remi. Our first match is up against Kuwait. We have Korea Republic and Oman also in our group."Footscray people are incredible people; so humble. I'm just so happy - ecstatic"Comment

Re: Socceroos Thread
Good win tonight in our opening match against Kuwait. It was a shaky start going 1 goal down but we the replied with 4 goals and created lots of chances. We have South Korea next and then Oman."Footscray people are incredible people; so humble. I'm just so happy - ecstatic"Comment

Good start tonight after a shaky start. I think being on home soil we can win it, but I fear if we don't at least make The final the likes of Slater Bosnich and the Fox Sydney sports mafia will be all over Ange.Comment

Re: Socceroos Thread
If we won the final 4-0, they would say we should have won 5-0 and still want Ange sacked. They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment

Re: Socceroos Thread
A great result this morning with the Socceroos drawing 2 - 2 with Germany in Germany.
Considering Cahill, Spiranovic, Kruse, Luongo and Sainsbury were all missing it was an impressive effort.
Only a late Lukas Podolski goal denied us the win.
Awesome Aussies draw 2-2 in GermanyComment

Re: Socceroos Thread
Yes, Charlie Yankos scored an absolute beauty against them World Champions, Argentina, in 1988. It put us 2-1 up and we went on to humiliate them 4-1. Yes, 4-1.
Maradonna and co were visibly upset at the result, with the whole SFS crowd singing "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina." Absolutely magic. One of the biggest boil-overs in world sport.Comment
