Does anyone know the dates of the games or is that yet to be determined?
It's been reported as November 9 in Honduras and November 14 in Sydney, but TBC.

Netherlands were ranked in the 30s IIRC. When was the last time they missed out?
Chile got beaten by Brazil and had other results go against them (much like the USA) to drop from 3rd to 6th to miss out completely. Peru finished 5th and play New Zealand for a spot.

Amazing day. Really shocked about Chile I thought they had a chance of winning it. Massive choke by the U.S. I reckon they had already lost when the players had to get carried onto the field to warmup so their boots didn't get saturated.

Honduras is an ok result the only games they won was against Trinidad plus the last game with Mexico (who could've rolled over). At least we are home for the 2nd leg so we just have to hang on in the first. It will be a tough leg without Milligan and Leckie.

I sort of feel for Syria to be honest. So shoot me, I love supporting the underdog! But the pass to Tim was breathtaking in that first goal.

You mean the pass from good Sunshine boy, Matthew Leckie?!

Any sympathy I might have had for Syria went out the window with their gamesmanship in extra time and the histrionics of their manager before and after the full time whistle.

So what did you think of the gamesmanship by the Aussies after going to 2-1

What gamesmanship? There was a player that could barely move and an assistants flag that was missed.

Huh? Kruse went down for extended periods as did one other. We did well to waste time

Aussies going incredibly well. Playing surface horrendous

A couple of missed opportunities but are now well positioned to play our best at home.

Socceroos again dominate a side without scoring. Much like the dogs this year at times.

We should of won but a draw in those conditions is not a bad result

I heard it referred to as estadio Moorabbin. Awful awful surface .
Excellent result , except for the finishing . Honduras are god awful, and to be honest the Asian confederate has better teams .
Going to be cagey on Wednesday, and look for a lot of play acting time wasting .

Really solid performance. Thought it was as good as I’ve seen Luongo look for Australia at times. Understandably ran out of steam but that miss from Juric was a killer. Partially to blame on the paddock but still should have done better. It’s a shame we can’t finish. We could have easily won by 2 or 3.
