He's racking up the suspensions. He jumped into it and that's hard to defend when contact is made.

Do we think Bramble has anything to worry about for the sling tackle?

Nah. No concussion (my first view was there wasn't even head contact), arms weren't pinned.
              He might get a fine.

A joke if he gets a fine. Higgins should be fined for his emmy award acting

Does anyone think it's a coincidence that we've already had three instances very similar to the Connor Nash incident today, by round six?

Or does putting the onus on players with the ball not to lower their bodies naturally to avoid high contact, or lower their bodies when changing direction rather than putting the onus on the tackler to hit below the shoulders and above the knee?

This is exactly the same bullshit we saw when "the head is sacrosanct" rules came into effect years ago. Players became reckless in the way they went head first at shins and knees, head injuries went up, and people standing still got penalised.

Now we have ball players changing their head levels by minimal amounts and getting maimed because over the last five years the tackler has been told you don't need to go below the elbows or around the waist. You can go as hard as you like around the shoulders, and if it slips upwards and wraps around a players head, you're not at fault.

I hate following a sport adjudicated by such idiots. Literally everything they touch turns to shit.
                            TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Did Smith get anything for throwing the ball in a players face ?
I also saw another player in another game attempt to trip , I cannot remember who but the tv replayed it a few times and nothing ?
the AFL seems to pick and choose one incident of many the same and give a penalty out while others get away with it .

No, I suspect the AFL will use the footage to promote next year's Easter Monday game.
