North supporters and Jon Ralph campaigning for Richards to be rubbed out for an apparent elbow to the head of LDU.

Have watched the video and am yet to see it.

        Don't forget Barrett.

There is absolutely no elbow, it's forearm and LDU has caused it himself from a terrible tackling technique. Richards is entitled to fend and can't have predicted LDU would attempt to tackle head first and so low.

The way LDU lead with his head he was a fair chance of hurting himself whether Richards fended or not.

Not even sure it's much of a fend to be honest. His arm is where you'd expect it to be for a player who has just taken possession and is in motion. Looks incidental to me.

I feel dirty for clicking on the article:

              IF ...

Ed Richards survived a very heavy and nasty hit to his shoulder from Cam Zurhaar on Thursday night ... THEN ...

he will have to wait until late Friday to see if he's survived Match Review Office sanction for his raised elbow on Luke Davies-Uniacke, who was forced out of the game with concussion. Yes, he was holding the ball. But he chose to raise his elbow to the head of an opponent. Of course, the tough ex-footballers, like Riewoldt and Hodge, say it's fine. But it's highly questionable in my eyes.

He even posted a video of it showing Richards not getting him with an elbow as proof of how bad it was!
              TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I wish I could be as pathetic at my job, with takes that are just completely wrong as Barrett and not only survive but prosper... he really is a fraud.

What a dirty prick he is. What he failed to mention is LDU tried to tackle with his head low which Ed would not have expected in that split moment

Ed practically grabbed the ball, turned and LDU tackled him .
Basically charging him with turning after getting the ball ?

That would be a big out. Can he appeal it?

I guess he can but if you see the video, it was a big hit to the side of his face

Yeah it looks an obvious one but clubs always try to find an angle. Fingers crossed.

Jack Graham received a four week ban for a homophobic slur levelled towards a GWS opponent. After proactively owning up to it (otherwise it would probably have been six).

I hate all of the nasty 'obes and all of the nasty 'ists, and those who use those words to try and upset someone, but I can't see how being called a name by an ignorant person is worth the same as having your faced smashed by a violent person.

But in a world where actual genocide garners less condemnation among mainstream media than aggressive words towards the perpetrators of that genocide I'm probably out of touch.

Darcy not cited for his hit to the chest (so he shouldn't) of Jordan Butts who ended up with a collapsed lung.

Xeri is in big trouble for his hit on Sparrow today - at least 4 weeks for that
