My guess is pick 7 this year, and maybe a mid range type player. Or a 2019 pick or 2019 pick swaps.

Its interesting it probably gives them access to Rozee at 7 which would be tempting fore sure if Chad wants out.

Is he worth pick 7 in your opinion. I am in two minds about that.

His numbers from round 12 onwards this year are in the elite category, played mostly midfield.

He'd be perfect for us. He has also put a price tag on his head circa $1m so pick 7 + extra would be a likely cost.

Obviously he hasn't played quite at the level of his first few seasons which were outstanding but for our young list to add a player of his class/ability which we severely lack I'd do it for sure.

Has he actually said he wants to leave and for $1million? I have only read rumours.

Trengove & Wingard are very best friends. Wingard tweeted last year words to the effect of that he would maybe like to play with Trengove again.

He's tweeted many clubs have requested him to do medicals. That to me indicates many clubs think he's gettable, and since he's doing them, he might be open to leave. The price tag was something thrown out in the media without a source that I can tell.

Maybe Trengove can negotiate with him, and bring him down a bit.

I would do it for sure as I highly doubt any of the young draftees we would like to bring in like, Rankine, King or Smith will still be available by our pick. So then what works better for us, Wingard or say Rozee or Hately?

GCS President mentioned that they might consider matching the bid for Lynch and making Richmond trade for him.

That would be incredible, very unlikely but I really hope this happens.

he oftens talks the talk but not always walks the walk. But I hope he does. Richmond should have to pay heavily.

I think if we drafted Rozee we would hope he becomes like Wingard (except a little more consistent). Hatley looks a great talent but unfortunately his flaws match our teams' flaws - poor disposal and poor decision making. So i'd be comfortable trading 7 for Wingard.

Does a Wingard acquisition also make more sense as to why we let Dahl go?
