Brisbane obviously have a target identified and rate the SA players as lower than needed. So they got pick 6 & 35 for pick 5.

To me it reads more that they were always trading Pick 5, so it made sense to drop to Pick 6 in order to get Pick 35 to use in another deal.

Brisbane Lions has traded Future Round One Selection to the Gold Coast Suns for Rd 1 (19), Future Round 2 Selection & its Future Round 3 Selection (on traded from Hawthorn).

so if they can't get us a pick in the 20's for Adams like we've requested we should be demanding 32 & one of the others starting with 35

no we got 6 & 22 for Brown and wasted them on Veale and Street.

pick 19 was ours for finishing last and we wasted that on Koops.

Don’t forget Adam Morgan for pick 35 in the same trade period. And Rawlings for PSD pick 1.

And some people think Lachie Weller and pick 41 (Charlie Ballard) for pick 2 (Andrew Brayshaw) was the worst trade in history.
