Re: The League Injuries Thread
Not that I'm huge into betting but I do bet on the Brownlow every year.
I just checked Sportsbet and Bont is outright favourite at $2 now.
Which is significantly shorter odds than the $16 I got on him at the start of the year."It's over. It's all over."Comment

"COLLINGWOOD sensation Nick Daicos will be sidelined for six weeks after scans revealed a hairline fracture in his knee." source:https://www.afl.com.au/news/995941/s...urphy-injuries
This season is wide open.
And as much as I want to see the Bont win the Brownlow, it will be somewhat a shallow victory if he only wins it because Daicos doesn't play the last 3 games. Although players miss games every year that decide outcomes so I think a can live with a Brownlow for BontThey've done studies you know, 60% of the time, it works every time!

Re: The League Injuries Thread
That seriously a real shame. I have actually enjoyed watching Nick Daicos play this year. 2nd year and Brownlow favourite is quite extraordinary. The kid is a jet, just ask BT!

Re: The League Injuries Thread
I went through the last 10 Brownlow Medalists. They are all in the top 4 for contested possessions.
Bont is currently #1 in the league.
Dacios is currently #40 in the league.
I'm not saying Daicos doesn't deserve it if he wins it. However, it will be a big shift from who normally wins the Brownlow. That is midfielders who can win their own ball and do something creative with it.
When was the last time a receiver won the Brownlow?Comment
