    I don?t like it.
I'll wait till it happens, but talk about going chips in on improvement next year.

That's a shocker of a trade if it pans out that way.

It's not a lot coming back for what we are supposedly giving up. I wonder which player we are chips in on to be prepared to trade out a future 1st?

Bloody hell! We are complete idiots if we do that.

Are we able to use pick 4 in this trade period if we do the swap beforehand?

Could we be planning to prise out a top liner?

Surely the club knows members will arm themselves with pitchforks and stake out WO if that’s what transpires. I think Power is smarter than that.

I wouldn't even do that trade to get Reid. I feel the HUN is stupid for even posting that. If we actually did that trade I think we'd start asking the afel for assistance.

The fact that it is multiple sources now and most of them are saying we're in the box seat has me thinking we are paying overs considering our draft hand is not that great compared to others. It has me really worried this has legs. I'll be dialling back my funding to the club even further or altogether if they do something like this, I can't take it anymore.

Was it Ralphy that wrote it in the HUN? I know he reported it originally as well - so may be a case of all coming from one source at this stage.

Tom Morris didn't indicate that next year's first was involved in the trade when he's reported on it.

They’re merely reporting that we have offered that. The only guess work from them is getting a future third back. If they have sources telling them that’s our offer, they’re not the stupid ones (for making it public).

                      Yep. Ralphy.

Barrett still running with Geelong having a go for Smith. If these reports are correct about us trading 3 firsts for pick 4, could the Smith to Geelong trade still have merit? Is something big brewing?

It's of course weird that Bailey's management would strongly deny the rumours but we've seen this before.

Your shocktober vibes may pan out.

I have some level of trust in Power. And I too am getting a feeling something is brewing. I don't get shocktober vibes, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a big trade coming.

Just our luck. Geelong got Pick 7 last year from GCS for taking Bowes contract. We could hand over 3 x Firsts for Pick 5 from GCS.

Let's say Smith to Geelong happens. What would an acceptable trade look like in total with Pick 4 and Smith to cats?
