Good question, I don't know. Doesn't make sense to me.

I suppose there are three logical possibilities.

      1) It is simply untrue.

      2) It is true and Lobb wants to leave.

      3) It is true, and the club wants Lobb to leave.

I'd bet it's linked to a speculative suggestion from the media.

I read that one from a "source" last night before bed. Apparently unhappy (as they all are this time of year) and looking at GWS or Melbourne. Nothing against Lobb but I do hope this is true and we move him on.

Considering how hard the club worked to get him over and overpaid to pull him out of a contract, on top of his very average season, he owes the club a lot. I'm not buying it at this stage

No idea if the source is true or not, but Lobb did ask for a trade to GWS during 2021 trade period. Lobb was also linked to Melbourne after Jackson left. So who knows.

Personally I don't want to lose Lobb.

If we were contenders then I'd agree, I was definitely onboard last off-season. After 2023 I don't see the point and would rather develop out own. Get Darcy to step up in the same role and move on. Like I said, I've got nothing against Lobb but a club like Melbourne may overpay because they would be desperate for a player like him, much like we were last season. We'd be crazy not to consider.

Doubt much of it is true anyway.

A guy on FB told me is a sure thing it’s made up.
Tom Morris . “The club didn’t answer my email so it must be true” .. a lot of self importance going on there.
Nothing has changed with him .. football clubs stick together and if a reporter/journo upsets a club the other clubs back the club. I would say you have been shut out Tom.
I miss Mark Stevens he at least had cred.

I'd be okay with it too. Darcy needs games next year and Lobb's in his spot - plus we're probably bringing in another similar type in Croft.

Yep. Passing away two Pick 30’s and $650,000 is a great outcome.

Maybe this is why Khamis is rethinking staying?

Sweet & Lobb. Maybe Smith. 3 assistant vacancies, no Maple replacement and no fitness boss, no interest from players trading in, Croft still uncommitted, looking like selling the WO for Pick 4… those reviewing themselves survived the review…

                                Could it get much worse.
