My point was its who the media choose, Listening to the commentators they went off Tutt and Butcher sounded like he was heaps better on the day by the end of the game.

Is Tutt going to get the credit he deserves for this game?
Riewoldt could have 30 bad games and one good one and the press are all over what a champ he is.
Some players are favourites, will Tutt be one,?
Did you catch Macavaney I think it was said it then realised what he said, oh if Tutt had blonde hair and was 6 foot he would be a champ now...then back peddled oh im not saying he isnt a good looking kid etc etc.

I'd say Fasolo was the leader before this game. He had 19 touches and 2 goals last night. Come on Tutty!

Thanks Mantis - Didn't realise he had hit 22 at the start of the season, he misses out by a year and a bit. It does makes Shuey's eligibility this year a bit odd considering he was drafted back in the 08 draft.

Nowhere near as deserved as Libba. If the criteria was an outstanding game then it should be Tutt, if it was consistency it should've been Libba. Clearly Sheehan just didn't watch our game this week.

It was deserved. Can't fault that one.

Why? I know they base it on a few games, but why hasn't Libba got a nomination. He has racked up some big possessions this season and had a very good game on Sunday with 27 disposals, 6 tackles.

If you compare the two players so far this season:

* Libba average disposals 18.4 versus 12.4
* Tackles 5.1 to 2.9
* Contested possession, 11.0 to 6.4
* Clearances 2.9 to .9

The only area Fasolo beats Libba on is goals, 1.4 to .3, but Libba beats him on goal assists, ie .8 to .4.

Its all a bloody joke and as Chops says Collingwood fans would sook if they didn't give it to him.

Every single club's fan forums would be putting forth their young guns and asking the same thing. Fasolo deserves a nomination. I'm not saying he deserves it more than Libba, and it's a travesty that Libba doesn't have one, but the real problem is in the selection process, not the selection. There should be a panel to pick the RS, and there should be flexibility to allow more than one pick each round.
