GC could have another 3 or 4 nominations by year end.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

In a normal year that would be unusual, but its not this year given the number of exceptional young players they have been allowed to secure.

They should get at least 8.

From what I have seen so far Heppell is in front. He is very consistent.

            Darling for me.

Recruiters really outsmarted themselves over him in last years draft.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

MJP, Is this award about what they have done this year or their potential?

On which basis do you prefer Darling?

The fact that he is doing it as a key forward rather than as an outside mid/half-back.

Averaging 15 touches and 6 marks per week - laying tackles...has just been super. Heppell has been great as well (21 touches a week) - I am fine with that, but he is playing a much easier role in what is a much better side.

Libba's turn this week, I bet he is hungry after a week out.

                    You might be right there

Will either be Libba or Savage this week, as great as Libba was, Savage was arguably better, whoever misses out will be very unlucky.

They seem to prefer players that have already had a few good ones, might get Libba over the line

                          Looks that way doesn't it.

I thought Libba would be a shoe in until I read that.

Stats for round 8 NAB rising star (top 5) but I still hope Libba would get this:

                              That's bloody hard to read.

I think the 14 Marks for Savage puts him in front unfortunately.

                              I hope I'm wrong.

Nooo, that's so unfair! They can't overlook Libba again surely.

He's been so solid, we are already starting to take him for granted, and he was terrific yesterday.
