Interestingly, CP stats were even today but Sydney killed them on the spread. Crows also had 22 more inside 50's - 59 inside 50's for 5 goals is Bulldogs-esque

Not saying it's the only aspect? But it does loom large.

Freo score one but the Cats intensity has lifted dramatically and it would not surprise if they win. Freo may in the end thank there great start.

Freo score one but the Cats intensity has lifted dramatically and it would not surprise if they win. Freo may in the end thank there great start.

For the supposed comeback they only out scored Freo by a couple of points.

Should be further up. Lyon knows how to coach teams that can perform at the pointy end.

Agreed, his style really holds up under finals pressure. Freo look very good, some serious star power and a good mix of cattle all over the park. Big test for them next week now, Crows fans are rejoicing (perhaps prematurely I think!) that they'll play Freo not Geelong.

He is a champion and when he retires will go down as one of the best.
