North's inability to beat GWS by 12 goals plus has really cost them and Fremantle any chance of progressing past the first week.

This Finals Series, I hope to see Geelong push their way through Freo, possibly Sydney and then come up against Hawthorn in the Prelim. Would make for one bloody interesting game.

It is a shame they have to come to Melbourne.

Strangely enough I want to see Geelong or Sydney to win.

I really don't care who wins as long as it is not Hawthorn.

I hope Geelong beats Hawthorn by a kick ( Tom Hawkins )
( By the way, Hawkins is Doug's nephew, are there any other Hawkins kids coming through?)

I didn't think they were related.

Yeah, they are it turns out. My mum heard Hawkins say so on the radio.

That would make Jack Hawkins Doug's brother and I know that's not true.

I thought that, but couldn't find something on the web to back it up.

Disappointed we didn't get the Perth Derby and Geelong vs Norf.

I think Geelong will account for Fremantle and WCE will smash Norf.

I reckon Geelong and Freo will be much closer than the odds suggest. Freo are in terrific form and will be very difficult to break down. It certainly won't be the walk in the park many are expecting for the Cats.

Yeah I think they'll be competitive but I think Geelong will have more players who'll step up on the day due to experience. I could've seen Fremantle knocking off West Coast.

I've seen a bit of Norf this year, their play on at all costs, reliance on precision disposal game plan is made to be torn apart in September. I'm looking for to B Scott being shown up.

I'd be very surprised if Fremantle got within 5 goals of Geelong.
