I'm saying Gardner isn't AFL standard, he is no spring chicken at 28. How many times does this need to be proven? He is only on list because of a long term deal.
Busslinger may be a better player or not but if we don't play him its hard to tell. L Jones is a better player even though he is old now.

I'm gonna say one more thing but then there's not much point because he has been dropped now and likely won't come back.

My argument has nothing to do with developing Buss and "seeing what we have in him" because from that angle, I'm all for playing him. I'm just talking about in that game, can we say with any certainty that Busslinger would have performed any better than Gardner? And my argument is no because of what I said.

It could be Bevo thinks he may play a role as a defensive sweeper to stop the burst out of the middle. He can't catch them when he's the guts so he getting tried at meeting them front on. I don't know about it I would rather him doing his thing in and under.

We knew what were going to get from Gardner. A level that’s not good for the AFL. We also knew the jones could have done better. We don’t know about Busslinger.

Is the libba at hb thing as simple as he and freijah giving each other a chop out. Freijah has been squeezed out of the midfield but we probs still want to develop him in there.

should be sub and let the two first gamers have a full run. I am not a fan of putting first year players as sub as they don't really impact a game when they come on. McNeil could impact in the last - unless there is an injury
