AFL seem to want to manage this through, he'll be an 'asset' to GC if he can pull it together. No one will care who he is in GC, its a Rugby state, he can roam freely without Tom Morris reporting his every move. Media is as much to blame for this situation. He's clearly been targeted for obvious reasons. How's that Geelong player with the finger issue still under-wraps. I think i even saw him on the ground during the end of the GF.

If we aren’t getting Wilkie and we aren’t getting Butters then is there even any real reason to give him up for free now? It’s annoying to have to pay him for sure but do we get to hold on to the money to use next year if we don’t give it to him?- I'm a visionary - Only here to confirm my biases -Comment

We need to start selling some hope and good news stories again. Dunkley, Smith, JUH and underperforming has us in a negative light and a disgruntled member base.
I'm sure the club is aware of it, hence a big offer to Wilke. But we really could do with a few wins...
Each year the club talks up it's chances and then doesn't quite deliver on them.
How the club strengthens the playing list will be scrutinized.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"👍 5Comment

so yes it’s absolutely a waste to spend it on Marra to do nothing. We’ll have a huge amount of salary next season freeing this up.

They were only apparently paying the woman for sex rather than forcing it from her. In her car.....while she was shitfaced, and I can't figure out the difference in how bad it was if they were sober or drunk themselves at the time......
Culture. I mean, imagine if this wasn't the mollycoddled ****heads from Geelong.........? If the AFL world can't see a sewer or at least smell the stench.
Names from the 80's, Gary Ablett Senior, Chapman, now whoever this is. Imagine moving there for the culture. Just a lazy major sex scandal every decade.........TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.Comment

I will be disgusted if we pay a cent of Marras contract next year, it’s just bullshit. Doesn’t rock up for a year and still expects to be paid 2 years of huge money? If Gold Coast want all the upside of taking him on they can negotiate a contract with him and we’ll rip up ours. But this media talk of us paying the difference or us paying him out and then GC taking him for chips is an actual joke and blight on the system, and power of the AFLPA.
We get nothing, still have to pay him and GC get all the upside of him turning it around? No chance. If they want us to pay even a cent of it then I’d sit him on the list to waste away for another year and see how he goes trying to get back after a 2nd year out of the game. If they want us to pay the contract, happily but you have to make it worth our while with a half decent pick/trade. If Marra doesn’t want to sit out another year and GC don’t want to take on any of the risk whatsoever, then Marra can rip up his contract with us and sign a new one with them happy days. But he’s not going to do that now is he?
**** this situation and **** Marra, just a shitshow👍 2Comment

Apparently Jamarra was asked by security to leave a local Warrnambool game a couple of weeks ago due to behaviour.
He's a ****ing idiot.W00F!😞 1Comment

Many of us wouldn't understand all the legal ramifications of terminating Jamarra's contract for next season but we have enough legal experts at the club to make the correct decisions.
Jamarra has progressively minimised his trade value over the last 12 months and along with it he has reduced his ow financial security and value.
A lot of that is just on him.
We are at the point where this is more or less a write off and we have to minimise the damage.
That's going to piss off a lot of supporters who will not want to see him paid out in any capacity and for others they won't want to see him at another club and would be happy to see him stand out of football
I feel we won't be able to satisfy everyone with whatever compromise is reached. It's a classic no win situation.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment
