I saw Butters and Bont in the closet at Whitten Oval making babies and I saw one of the babies and the baby looked at me.

I always liked spelling it Parmy.

I am no marketing specialist, but I bet if you asked them Parmigiana’s would collectively think Parmy (parmi) was better sounding and better for their brand.

Parma sounds like what they called a thing in your Great-grandmothers era.

I want to get in before the admins delete my account and say thanks for everything and wish everyone the best. Also pot is a stupid name for any size beer. Also take care.

Look I'm not too fussed by the parma/parmi thing but I can't seriously take any opinion on beer sizes from a state that has schooners and pints that are a different size to every other state and territory in Australia!

how did it go from "making babies" to a full grown baby within what you describe as a few minutes. You must be a journo

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

You're overthinking it, but check with Ralph Wiggum if you want answers.

Butters allegedly playing golf with a few Essendon boys today. There is talk that the Bombers are going hard at Ken Hinkley and that has got the fans stirred up.

On a tangent, there were rumours that we wanted Boak for a role weren't there? Hopefully that eventuates- he has referenced Boak a lot (as someone he is close to and a real mentor) over the years.

Reading between the lines, it sounds like we are in the mix but he has a similar offer via a few clubs (including Collingwood and Carlton).

He will spend a month holidaying overseas before making a call on his plans for 2026, when he hopes to assume a role he admits is currently “kind of a made-up position within a footy environment”.
“I want to coach the athlete, not the footballer, and coach the athletes to be a really good footballer in terms of how to prepare using mindset, performance-based work,” he said.
“It’s something that I really enjoyed in the latter part of my career – to really understand what kind of level you have to get to be a really good athlete to then go out and be a footballer.”

Geelong have offered 3 first round picks for Curnow.

Does this somewhat reveal their knowledge of a future Butters move elsewhere?

Saying "3 first round picks" is just another Geelong friendly journalist spin move that makes it sound like they are offering 1,2 and 3.

If it was any other club they would say "3 picks in the 20's" which is what it will be.

I wonder how we expect to get a sign & trade done for Butters next year, I wonder if we consider trading our 1st rounder for a future pick

Carlton just laughed that out the door for Curnow, yes the ‘26 1st is ok, but the ‘27 & ‘28 1st are the Tasmania drafts

Waiting for the media to turn on Carlton for rejecting 3 FIRST ROUNDERS. Like how dare they, Geelong are being more than generous and dealing in good faith like they do every year. Just don’t look too closely at the books.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.
