We just needed to steal a game for belief … such a painful loss. We didn’t deserve to win. We didn’t deserve it but we were 15 point up with 10 minutes to play. We should have killed the game with even a little composure. They kicked three goals in 10 minutes when they had kicked six goals for the whole match. How did we get exposed out the back? How?

English went into the ruck to play a kick behind the ball. Then Port kicked a goal and Young went back into the ruck.
I would have left English there and have him play like Wynd. He's done it before.

If Bailey Smith played with more composure we win that. Oh well. At least we played better than last two matches. To be in front for so long and then lose is gut wrenching. I agree club should seriously consider trading Bailey Smith.

Roarke Smith was pretty good tonight.

Smith is 20 years old. Its up to the coaching staff to help him recognize what he's doing wrong and how to fix. We can all see it, why can't Beveridge and Co?

Yep, a loss well deserved. They worked hard at the contest and we didn't want it as much as them.

We have gambled on playing players underdone and or out of form and its cost us at least one of the last three games and a top four spot.

No leadership. No composure.

That contested ball in the last when there were 5 of them running full bore with not a Dog in sight was indicative of a team that has just run out of steam.

Maybe injuries have caught up with us, but maybe there's a management question.

Vandermeer looked so out of form what were expecting from him?

I really did notice a lack of team at times.

Where was the chop out for Libba?

I know we are hurting but gee I can’t agree with all this. There was heart and toughness. Sure we needed more leadership but at the end of the day we just weren’t good enough. Refocus and recruit a couple of needs and we will contest for the flag. We aren’t far away.
