I know we are hurting but gee I can’t agree with all this. There was heart and toughness. Sure we needed more leadership but at the end of the day we just weren’t good enough. Refocus and recruit a couple of needs and we will contest for the flag. We aren’t far away.

When there’s this many players out of form the buck stops with the coach. But clearly he’s protected because he won us a flag years ago. He needs to go.

Wowsers. I’m so flat, disappointed, annoyed, etc, etc. But the effort was definitely there tonight. Some of the posts I have just read in the last few pages are downright embarrassing. Any wonder I usually avoid this thread. Facebook would be better than this garbage

People who love this club can’t be frustrated that for a multitude of reasons have most likely pissed our season down the sink?

3 weeks ago we were flag favourites… now we’re likely to go into a EF as an outsider. How does that happen?

C'mon man. The effort was there? Maybe it was as we ran around aimlessly. We were chasing shadows all night. No system around the stoppages and centre bounces. No system entering inside 50. Again, comes back to Beveridge and the coaching team.

No we aren’t. We just have players out of form and 3 players coming back off long spells who aren’t match fit. Port are a hard side. We are thereabouts just need to fix some structural issues as well. Plenty to work with.
