He’s staying. No club watching his season surely wants him. So he’s ours for two more years.

He was poor tonight. Especially when the ball hits the ground. Naughton is a beast around the ball, in particular when it hits the deck. Lobb is the opposite. It really hurts you.
No supply, or at least what you might call clean supply.
He is what he is, a competent second ruck and that's it unless he's the main focal point who is isolated.
Tonight was probably the worst conditions he's played in for us for a while and he didn't stand up, and it is what it is.
He’s a leading forward, not a pack mark type. Our delivery &/or our positioning inside 50 was off. And there was no Darcy or Naughts to make up for it. We also really missed Darcy & Naughts & English (who was not very good tonight) marking down the line. Lions pinpoint kicks and marks all over ground killed us all night.
Josie :)
Our day will come
And we'll have everything.
We'll share the joy
Just like '54 again.

Good post josie.
I'd stay away from the Game Day thread if I wasn't posting in it, but I did point out we just seemed all over the place with our forward structure and it was obvious from the limited TV perspective. Three of our best forwards were out tonight and while that makes a difference for hitting the scoreboard, it also makes a huge difference to how we respond to the game.
TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

This was my take. Thought the Bronx cheers were dissapointing considering how little good opportunity he was actually being afforded and that he did seem to be trying hard.
It's not like our other forwards were showing how easy it was.
Disappointing night all round. Lobb just couldn't take a trick and is now possibly injured. Still, we are paying him a lot and the returns have been fairly meagre to date.

"It's not about the destination - it's about the trip."
Nah Lobb was dismal last night. Him hitting the ball into space inside D50 with 4 seconds left in the 2nd quarter was one of the dumbest things I’ve seen a player do all year.

Don't let that save him he's been Bronxed cheered fairly consistently at three clubs now.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
I'm still inclined to get more ruck work out of him and spell Tim up forward for longer stretches. I'm also inclined to drop him after last night, he was pathetic.
