With that in mind is JackCJohnston2000's (great effort) side up for an adjustment to account for it?

My update further to JCJ2000's side:

    FB: Duryea O'Donnell Bramble
    HB: Dale Lobb Frejiah
    C: Williams Liberatore Davidson
    HF: Kennedy Naughton Harmes
FF: McNeil Darcy Vandermeer (in for West who is out)
    Foll: English Richards Sanders
INT: Garcia Gallagher Cleary (gives us flexibility behind the ball, on the bench for Vandermeer who replaces West) Khamis (for intercepting cover if Freijah goes into the midfield rotation)
    Sub: Jones (replaced by Khamis)
West should be good to go. Other than missing the Hawks game he's trained throughout.
I like the look of this one. I could be talked into Gardner instead of Khamis but it's splitting hairs.

I do sense we'd like to squeeze in Croft.

A fit Croft might be a decent option. He needs to get a bit of continuity with his football

I like your line up a lot.
My only change would be Cleary on the bench for VDM as sub.

Yeah I think West is a lock currently with our seniors players missing who are injured and he looks to be recovered from his minor setback, training fully the last few sessions.

                  Justification:
Cleary: Loved Cleary’s game vs Hawks and he makes it in as our 7th defender.

A.Jones: Need a silky link up forward half player desperately. Showed his best football against the hawks. Should look to project as a Liam Henry type of player.

Gallagher: A favourite of Bevo’s. Got speed, able to play def, mid or fwd. Needs to polish disposal and be more composed to start.

Garcia: Our next mid option after Libba, Richards, Sanders, Kennedy and Harmes. Needs to be more composed and just take the easy option sometimes. Likely to drop after Bont, Treloar return.

VDM: Plays his role to an OK standard. Would love for Dolan to nab this spot

Sanders: His time is now. 2nd season but will be given all the opportunity in the world with injuries

McNeil: Pre-season specialist with 4 goals yet two years in the running. Need this form to translate after a big off season

Harmes: Big bodied mid with decent forward half ability. Will show his worth now.

Everyone else is locked in to the 23

Good line up Kllay. Only change I would make would be on the subs bench and bring in Khamis as cover for a tall when they need a spell/ injury. Ideally for VDM but more likely Garcia/ Jones.

Not considered (Injured or Suspended): Treloar (inj), Bont (inj), JJ (Inj), Jones (Inj), Weightman (Inj),Scott (Inj), Coffield (Inj)

                      Backs (7)
                      Small: Duryea, Gallagher
                      Medium: Dale, Freijah, Bramble
                      Tall: Lobb, JOD

                      Rucks (1)
                      English

                      Inside Mids (5)
                      Liber, M.Kennedy, Sanders, Richards, Garcia

                      Outside Mids (2)
                      Williams, Davidson

                      Forwards (7)
                      Targets: Naughton, Darcy, Croft
                      Smalls: McNeil, West, Dolan, Vandermeer

                      Sub: Harmes

Emergencies: Cleary (Back), Poulter (Mid/Sub), Gardner (Ruck).

                      Missed: Khamis, A. Jones, Baker
Not Considered: Smith, L. Kennedy, Jaques, Hynes, Busslinger

                      I think that's everyone.

I can see Harmes starting but think an EXPERIENCED player is crucial as the sub - and one who can play inside/outside and threaten the score-board. Picking kids as the sub remains a terrible idea as they struggle to pick up the speed of the game and make mistakes.

I am not happy with the balance of inside/outside players and think McNeil is simply going to have to help on the wings for 2x 3 minute stints per quarter.
I remain unconvinced on Croft but (believe it or not) from a balance perspective it came down to either him or Gardner...

You have Davidson as an inside and outside mid. Not sure he’s that good yet.

                        Cheers UD.

Still lamenting my lack of magnets (or Keynote tiles in this day and age).

Have moved Garcia into the starting line-up (5th mid) and Poulter to the emergencies list...

                            SUB . A Jones .
That side has pace on every line , and the marking power to get on top of North , i think Harmes at some stage may have a run with roll on either Davies Uniacke or Simpkin . Our mids simply have to win 1st use of the ball .

                              Backs:
                              Duryea - O'Donnell - Freijah
                              Bramble - Lobb - Dale
                              Mids:
                              English - Richards - Liberatore
                              Williams - Sanders - Davidson
                              Forwards:
                              Kennedy - Naughton - Harmes
                              McNeil - Darcy - West
                              Int/Sub/Emergencies:
                              Garcia - Vandermeer - Gallagher - Gardner - A.Jones
                              Cleary - Khamis - Poulter

I suspect Cleary is right in the mix.

There should be some tell tale signs tomorrow. Could Croft or Dolan be a slight chance?
