Only just trying out the new look. It's certainly easier to read on a mobile phone so that's an initial positive.

When I click on a thread now it takes me to the end of the thread rather than my last unread post - is there anything that can be done about that?

Also does the red look orange to anybody else? I'm not a fan of being reminded of the orange team on our own forum.

Yes, I have the same issues. There should be something in settings to rectify this, but I couldn't find it. Also, some threads are different to others on where the page lands eg One thread takes me to the very first thread post. (total pages in that thread are over 700)

Also, there is usually an option on forums whether you want the page posts to be newest on the top of the page, or bottom of the page.

We've still got some final tweaks to make but it's good to get some positive feedback. We've lost some features but hopefully the benefits balance that out.
There will be an adjustment period for all of us.

I click on the two downward pointing arrows next to the thread title to go to next unread. Only off thing is it's usually not placing the unread posts at the top of the page, more like the middle with the previous post partially showing.

Also I have no quote option now on other people's posts.

I also have this issue., although i think it takes me to the halfway point of the relevant unread post meaning i have to scroll up slightly to catch the start.

Is anyone experiencing challenges with the site today? It looks like we fixed some of the problems last night.
One that Granty just pointed out is that the notifications aren't working on the mobile phones so I will be raising that today for resolution.
If there are a few more we can list it would assist.

I was having a lot of issues last night so I thought I'd give it a day to let things settle.

Love the new mobile look. A lot easier to read.

Some challenges that I've had:

• I never stay logged in even when ticking remember me.
• I always use the latest activity view. But it doesn't seem to list the most recent posts. The date order seems all over the place.

Congratulations Gary and everyone who provided advice on the new WOOF. It's so much more user friendly on different devices, and whilst we'll have to learn some new ways to view and do certain things, it's great progress.

One question I have is whether it is possible hide boards and posts which I don't use, such as the Music & General Interest Board or the All Sports Board? I fully appreciate that there are many members who like posting in these areas, but it can be a distraction for those of us here for the footy and having to navigate around the other topic areas.

As an interim measure there is a mark the channel (board) read option.

Thanks Gary, I'll have a try with marking the channel as an interim. I do appreciate all the work done, especially on a volunteer basis. Last Thursday was International Volunteer Day, and you really deserved a shout out then!
